Project Overview

The Royal Adelaide Hospital (RAH) sought to upgrade its Seminar/Lecture Theatre to provide an immersive and technologically advanced visual experience for its audiences. Citadel Group, responsible for the project, partnered with Aurora Signage as the preferred manufacturer based on their extensive experience and successful track record in implementing Large Format LED Displays.

Products Used

Aurora utilised the LDC610XX Indoor Series Cabinets in a P1.9mm configuration for the RAH. These cabinets feature a lightweight, slimline design and the 3-in-1 Integrated Hub system. The displays included On-Screen Display Menus, Android OS with wireless casting, and Local Video Inputs as standard components.

Project Requirements and Objectives

In collaboration with Citadel, the functional requirements were outlined to ensure optimal performance, including LED display behaviour following room splitting and joining preset modes, each screen capable of displaying up to 6 non-linear windows for multiple content sources, and seamless integration with the existing Crestron Control Systems.

Project Approach and Collaboration

Aurora Signage employed a customised Citrix software framework to create workspaces for each project and client, ensuring seamless coordination and correspondence between clients, stakeholders, and the internal team in real-time.

Installation and Maintenance

The installation process involved careful planning for efficiency and minimal disruption to the busy space. Ongoing maintenance includes remote monitoring tools to pre-emptively address anomalies and a follow-up site visit after three months. An annual service is recommended to keep the display system in optimal condition.

Post-sales Support and Warranty

The Aurora LUX range products come with a 5-year parts warranty and a 1-year onsite warranty, with additional warranty options available on a project-by-project basis.
